Katie Broadway
"My name is Katie and I am the Assistant Resident Manager for The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. When I was 15 yrs. old I started drinking. I started using meth when I was about 16, and I started using other hard drugs. I dropped out of school and I started getting into trouble with the law. I've been to juvenile hall, I can't tell you how many times; jail and prison. My life was a mess. Every time I would hit that brick wall, I would tell myself, `Katie, you have to stop. You have to change your life.'
Finally I was given an opportunity to go to The Salvation Army and it changed my life. I learned to forgive myself and they gave me the tools there to do that. If you're like me, and you're tired of being tired, and your tired of living like you are, and you want to make some changes...call The Salvation Army.
If you have ever shopped at one of our stores or made a donation, I personally want to thank you, because you have helped to save my life."
